ABOUT the Sound Wall Project

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has started the SH 114 expansion project, which includes two sections of sound wall to help buffer highway traffic noise.  TxDOT plans to add an interior lane in both directions from Kirkwood to Trophy Lake Drive, and an interchange at SH 170 and Parrish Lane. The sound wall will be 14’ tall and stretch from Marshall Creek east to The Village Shopping Center and from the creek on the east side of Beck’s property at SH 114 at Trophy Club Drive to Lake Cities Church of Christ.
