The Town Secretary provides administrative support to the Mayor and Council members as well as various Boards and Commissions.
The Town Secretary is responsible for the following:
- Municipal elections
- Preparation of Council meeting agendas and minutes
- Custodian of Town records
- Board and Commission recruitment, applications and training
The Town Secretary serves as the election administrator to ensure all legal requirements are met, including; coordination of all aspects of the Towns General and Special Elections, assisting in the determination of viable candidates, preparing and maintaining candidate files, posting legal notices, and monitoring the tallying of votes

Town Records (Requests for Information)
The Town Secretary acts as custodian of public records, including preserving and maintaining documents such as contracts, ordinances, and resolutions. The Town Secretary also serves as the Town Records Management Officer (RMO). As the RMO, the Town Secretary responds to Requests for Information from residents, citizens, and governmental agencies.

Holly Fimbres began her career in municipal government in April 2000 with the City of Euless, Texas where she worked in many different roles and departments over the course of 15 years; Environmental Health Services, Building Services and Planning and Development. She was promoted to Assistant to the City Secretary in 2011 in order to provide administrative support to the Council and City Secretary.
On January 19, 2015, Ms. Fimbres started her career with the Town of Trophy Club and considers the Town her second home. Serving the Town of Trophy Club has given her the opportunity to interact with an amazing community as well as collaborate with an extraordinary team of staff members. She provides administrative support to the Mayor and Council members, coordinates Town Elections, prepares Council meeting agendas and minutes, assists with the Boards and Commissions appointment process, and processes Public Information Requests.
Holly obtained her Texas Registered Municipal Clerks (TRMC) designation in June 2015, earned a Bachelor of Business Administrations degree in December 2011, and received an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration in December 2007. She is a member of the Texas Municipal Clerks Association and the North Texas Municipal Clerks Association.
Holly and her husband Rocky are proud parents of one beautiful daughter, Sydney 13, and two handsome sons, Kaden 7 and Brody 5 months. Their main priority is spending time together with their family and friends.
