The contest deadline has closed and the photo submissions are ADORABLE!  Here is a compilation of the submissions!

The 4th annual Trophy Dog Photo Contest has officially begun! Every year the Town of Trophy Club hosts a Facebook contest to discover the most photogenic dogs and celebrate PetFest on September 20 at Freedom Dog Park. Anyone is welcome to submit one picture of their pooch on the Trophy Dog Photo Contest Facebook page.

The Trophy Club Women’s Club (TCWC) — Trophy Gardeners present their annual Garden Tour of Homes on Sunday, October 5 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (rain or shine) at beautiful homes throughout Trophy Club. Five Trophy Club gardens and Trophy Club Park (TCP) will be showcased. Raffles, silent auction, hotdogs, door prizes and music at Trophy Gardens in TCP will be the finale. Beck Elementary Principal, Sandy Conklin, and Parent Teacher Association announced the adoption of a stray bulldog on Tuesday, August 26. Students were introduced to the adoptee as they entered for the first day of class. Beck Elementary students will learn how to be responsible pet owners as they provide Beck’s new Bulldog a loving forever home!

A contest to name the bulldog begins Tuesday, August 26. Contest participation is exclusive to Beck students and a panel of Beck staff, students and PTA members, will decide on the final name.…

Municipal Office Closed Monday, September 1 for Labor Day

Trophy Club Administrative Offices will be closed Monday, September 1 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Police, Fire and EMS services will continue as usual. Municipal offices will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2.

The Community Pool will be closed August 25 - 29, then open for Labor Day weekend August 30 - September 1. After September 1, the pool is closed for the 2014 season.

Town Council Amends Solicitation Ordinance, Implements No-Knock List

At the August 12, 2014 meeting, the Town Council voted unanimously to amend various sections of the ‘Peddlers and Solicitors’ ordinance in an effort to better protect residents from the negative impacts associated with soliciting and distribution. The amended ordinance still maintains a business’s First Amendment right to communicate to potential customers, but also allows residents the right to ‘opt out’ if they do not want door-to-door solicitors or handbills dropped at their door.

Update (August 19, 2014) --- Residents are welcome to call or email Code Enforcement for help with mosquito dunks on private property or an area of concern: 682-831-4659.

The Texas Department of Agriculture has determined that, "The only way to redistribute pesticides (classified as general use) such as most if not all mosquito dunks are general use,  is to distribute them in the manufacturer’s original packaging. You cannot take a bulk amount of product, re-package it (even with a copy of the label) and distribute them.”…
