The 2016 National Drug Take Back event is Saturday, April 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the Trophy Club Police Department will accept expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications from Trophy Club residents’ medicine cabinets. Residents can drop off the unwanted medicines at the police station located at 100 Municipal Drive. The program is anonymous for participants and all medications collected will be destroyed.

Cub Scout Pack 328 is collecting non-perishable food items for the Roanoke Food Pantry again this year on Saturday, February 6th. If you wish to contribute, please leave your items in a grocery bag on your doorstep by 9:00 AM and the scouts will pick it up. Items requested by the food pantry include:

  • canned tomatoes
  • spaghetti sauce
  • hamburger helper
  • rice-a-roni
  • pancake mix
  • syrup
  • canned meats
  • canned fruits

Recently some veterans that live here in Trophy Club got together and had an idea.  Let's meet the first Saturday of every month for breakfast!  No obligation, inexpensive, just an opportunity share coffee and chat with other veterans.  Currently we are meeting at 9am on first Saturdays at Fuzzy's Tacos in Roanoke.  Once we have a breakfast spot within Trophy Club (and they are being built), we'll move locations so we can further support our community.

Trophy Club Secures First PID Refinancing in Texas History, Saves Residents $16M

Trophy Club is making history as the first municipality in the state of Texas to achieve an investment grade rating on a Public Improvement District (PID) bond and to realize over $16.4M in total savings with a subsequent refinancing. The $16.4M refund for PID residents results in approximately $11,675 savings in future assessments over the life of the bond to each property owner who had not previously paid off their assessments. As planning for the new Trophy Club Town Hall moves forward, the Town Council has begun to examine possible uses for the Annex (Public Services) Building where the majority of Town Staff currently office. Council is looking to the future and how the building could best serve the citizens, including converting the structure into a community space, such as meeting rooms, classroom space or a senior activity center.
