The Spring season has arrived, and for many that means it’s time for a good spring cleaning and general home maintenance projects. Spring also marks the time of year when vegetation growth picks up, which can create issues with safety, rodents and unsightliness.

The Town of Trophy Club has compiled some spring cleaning tips, as well as a few reminders regarding code compliance, to assist residents with springtime cleaning activities.

The Trophy Club 2016 Spring and Fall Garage Sale dates are scheduled for April 30 and October 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., rain or shine. Garage sale permits cost $20 and are available for sale at Tom Thumb and Sassy Flamingo starting April 1 for the Spring 2016 garage sale. Garage sale maps identifying participating households will be available for $1 at the main entrances to town for visitors on the day of the garage sale.

Update (March 30, 2016) --- Last night the Town Council considered the proposed PD-30 amendments, as well as P&Z recommendations brought forward from the March 24th meeting. After negotiating with the development team on a variety of topics, the Town Council voted 6-1 to approve the PD-30 amendments with P&Z’s recommendations and several conditions, including:

Beginning Wednesday, March 23rd, the large and small sides of Freedom Dog Park will flip for approximately two weeks to allow for turf regrowth and general maintenance.
