The Military Veterans Memorial holds a special place in the hearts of Trophy Club residents. The memorial is a visual representation of our love and appreciation for our nation’s veterans and current military staff — the men and women who proudly serve, and have served our country to maintain our freedoms.

Originally, the Trophy Club Women’s Club brought forward a concept plan to the Town Council with their vision for the memorial. In 2016, Town Council committed to complete the original concept proposed by the TCWC, as well as add a parking lot to accommodate ceremonies that honor our veterans. Including the TCWC, several groups have made donations towards the project: Trophy Club Stars & Stripes, Beck Elementary and the Metroport Rotary Club.

Upon completion of the Military Veterans Memorial, residents can expect to see:

  • six monuments honoring the five branches of the military and POW/MIAs
  • lighted U.S. flag with landscaping
  • seating for ceremonies
  • annual Veterans Day Ceremony and other patriotic events

Special Note from the Metroport Veterans Association
The Metroport Veterans Association is offering you a “limited quantity” opportunity to purchase a Personalized Commemorative Brick to honor the service of you, a brother/sister, or a family member/friend. Each brick is $15 and will be placed at the base of the flag pole. Contact Jim Parrow for details: parrowjim@charter.net or 214.682.7234
