The Town of Trophy Club is busy making additions and upgrades to the community for many reasons. Work is done to enhance infrastructures, engage in quality developments, and to ensure the Town’s natural beauty maintains the level of expectation that the residents have for it. To do all of these things, work needs to be happening, and it’s not always clean and pretty. The Town staff intends to provide updates on the happenings as much as it is available. Please remember that the information provided is what is available to staff via their team and other third parties and it is subject to change. Staff will strive to keep Trophy Club looking and functioning at its best while keeping its residents informed to the best of their abilities.
CIP Project — Phoenix Drive
5/18/2018 — 10:51 AM
Based on the current events of weather and construction activities, it will be necessary to remain off of the newly poured concrete until Tuesday, May 22, 2018. This is due to the contractor needing to test the concrete strengths on Monday, May 21, 2018.
5/21/2018 — 11:30 AM
Beginning Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at approximately 8:30 AM, the Contractors will be scheduled to complete the pour to the end at Shields Court.
In addition, once staff receives the results of the test breaks of the current pour residents will be notified that it is ok to park on that pour.
5/18/2018 — 8:30 AM
The scheduled 8:30 AM concrete pour is on as scheduled. 200 yard mix is coming in.
5/17/2018 — 7:00 PM
If residents of Phoenix Drive haven’t already done so, please relocate your cars for the evening to accommodate for the estimated 8:30 AM concrete pour in the morning (this time is subject to change).
Additionally, be aware that the rebar that has been laid has been laid flat without support so residents can drive over it to get in and out of their homes.
5/17/2018 — 1:00 PM
Republic Services has responded to the staff inquiry regarding trash pick up tomorrow. Republic Services has assured the Town that they will be monitoring the street moving forward to ensure service is completed. At this time we encourage residents in and around Phoenix Drive to set trash/recycling as normal tomorrow, Friday, May 18, 2018.
5/17/2018 — 7:30 AM
Trophy Club staff will be placing electronic reader boards in the Phoenix Drive area. Keep alert and check them as they will be pushing additional messaging on them.
Staff will also be contacting Republic Services this morning to get details on trash pick up for tomorrow, Friday, May 18, 2018. Stay tuned for an update.
5/16/2018 — 4:30 PM
Trophy Club staff has received the approval of the density reports from the lab technicians on the density testing accomplished earlier today. The current schedule of work will have forms being set early Thursday, May 17, 2018, as well as the steel placement. Staff is aware materials are being moved around the site, and some forming may take place this afternoon, Wednesday May 16, 2018. In addition, staff will begin inspecting the steel placement mid-morning, Thursday, May 17, 2018, and will continue to do so as sections are completed. Driveways will remain open as they have been, throughout the morning and afternoon activity.
NOTE: All vehicles that are to be used on Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19, 2018, will need to be relocated out of the construction area from Thursday night until Saturday afternoon.
The contractor is scheduled to begin the pour on Friday morning, May 18, 2018. It has not been determined by the concrete company how much material shall be delivered and that will determine how far they can go with the pour. Those homeowners that have no forms or fresh concrete at their location may return home on Friday at the completion of the workday. Staff will continue to monitor the situation and appreciate your patience during this time.
