The 1st Annual “Back to Nature” event took place Saturday April 27th at Trophy Club Park. This one-of-a-kind event featured live animal demonstrations, outdoor photography, a family campout and a 5k/10k fun run, just to name a few of the many attractions. About 700 people from the community gathered to celebrate trails, trees, and camping.

The Trophy Club Police Department is investigating car burglaries that are resulting in bank frauds. In these cases, the car burglars are targeting cars in and around the Trophy Club Dog Park and the Trophy Club Country Club parking lot and day care centers. Unlike the more common property crime car burglaries where the criminals merely take electronics and other valuables from the vehicle, this new breed of car burglar has a more sinister motive in mind: Bank Fraud.

On April 22, 2013, Mayor Pro Tem Glenn Strother presented the 2012 Citizen of the Year nominees and recpients with certificates and plaques honoring residents for their outstaning volunteer efforts in the community. On Monday, April 8, 2013, the Trophy Club Town Council voted unanimously to adopt the Trophy Club Vision 2030 Plan; a roadmap that details a long-range strategic vision for the town. The Vision 2030 Plan will be used in conjunction with Town Council’s Strategy Map in order to help develop a unified, cohesive vision for Trophy Club over the next 20 years. The adopted plan established five guiding pillars, identified as priorities, for long-term planning and goals for the town.

On Monday, April 22, 2013 the Town Council passed a Golf Cart Ordinance, which will go into effect June 1, 2013. The new ordinance will work in conjunction with Texas Transportation Code to regulate golf cart use on Trophy Club streets.Please visit the Golf Cart webpage for full details.
