In 2007, the Town of Trophy Club created the first municipally bonded Public Improvement District (PID) in the state of Texas, and on November 4, 2013 the Town Council approved the final two plats for The Highlands at Trophy Club only six years after the 697 acre PID development started. When the PID was created, about 7,067 residents called Trophy Club home. The Denton Central Appraisal District is accepting applications from Denton County residents who are interested in serving on the Denton Appraisal Review Board (ARB). Applications are due by Friday, November 15, 2013. To serve on the ARB, residents must currently reside in Denton County and have lived within the county for at least two years. The meeting schedule is fairly rigorous from late May through July, but more information, including the application, is available in the informational packet.
