At the April 12, 2016 Council meeting, the Town Council appointed Michael Pipkins to the Planning & Zoning Commission (P&Z). Update (March 30, 2016) --- Last night the Town Council considered the proposed PD-30 amendments, as well as P&Z recommendations brought forward from the March 24th meeting. Town Council will canvass the election results at the November 13, 2015 Special Call Meeting at 8:30 a.m. in the Svore Municipal Building Boardroom (100 Municipal Dr.).

Update (October 1, 2015) --- The Town Council adopted the FY15-16 Town Budget on September 22, 2015. The formal budget is currently under development, but the approved budget is available for review. The FY15-16 budget is based on a $0.484/$100 valuation tax rate, which is a $0.006 reduction over last years tax rate.
