The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) plans to start the SH 114 expansion project later this year, which also includes two sections of sound wall to help buffer highway traffic noise. A TxDOT Public Meeting has been scheduled for March 1 to provide project information and solicit public comment. TxDOT plans to add an interior lane in both directions from Kirkwood to Trophy Lake Drive, and an interchange at SH 170 and Parrish Lane. Update (October 1, 2015) --- The Town Council adopted the FY15-16 Town Budget on September 22, 2015. The formal budget is currently under development, but the approved budget is available for review. The FY15-16 budget is based on a $0.484/$100 valuation tax rate, which is a $0.006 reduction over last years tax rate.

The Street Services Department began upgrading street signs this week as part of the annual sign replacement program, as well as to bring older signs up to federal and state transportation code and increase sign visibility for drivers and emergency responders. The new street signs will be placed at intersections along major thoroughfares, including Trophy Club Drive, Indian Creek, Trophy Wood and Trophy Lake Drive.
