At the Council meeting on April 26th, the Town Council announced and recognized six Trophy Club residents who were nominated by peers in the community for the 2015 Citizen of the Year honor. All six nominees had outstanding volunteer backgrounds and make huge impacts on the community, schools, neighborhoods and various organizations they serve. Congratulations to all nominees — we are so proud to have such fantastic citizens in Trophy Club!

At the April 12, 2016 Council meeting, the Town Council appointed Michael Pipkins to the Planning & Zoning Commission (P&Z). Michael has been a resident of Trophy Club for two years and has 29 years of industry experience as a seasoned architect. Throughout his career Michael has worked with other communities as an architect presenting to various community boards, design committees and city/county planning commissions. The Trophy Club 2016 Spring and Fall Garage Sale dates are scheduled for April 30 and October 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., rain or shine. Garage sale permits cost $20 and are available for sale at Tom Thumb and Sassy Flamingo starting April 1 for the Spring 2016 garage sale. Garage sale maps identifying participating households will be available for $1 at the main entrances to town for visitors on the day of the garage sale.

Calling all Trophy Club Citizens! The BNHS FFA Chapter is putting on an Operation Gratitude Collection Drive for our Military and their families.
Every year, Operation Gratitude sends 150,000+ individually addressed care packages to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed overseas, to their children left behind, and to New Recruits, Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Warriors and their Care Givers. Each package contains food, hygiene products, entertainment and handmade items, as well as personal letters of support.

Cub Scout Pack 328 is collecting non-perishable food items for the Roanoke Food Pantry again this year on Saturday, February 6th. If you wish to contribute, please leave your items in a grocery bag on your doorstep by 9:00 AM and the scouts will pick it up. Items requested by the food pantry include:
